4 Ways to Cool Off in North Tahoe This Summer

Looking to escape the heat this summer? North Tahoe is a refreshing destination for anyone who’s looking to cool off in or on the water. Chill out by our pool overlooking the lake, or take to the crystal-clear water with one of these nearby activities.

Complimentary Kayaks & Paddle Boats

At the Resort

Ask the front desk about taking our complimentary kayaks or paddle boats out on the lake! Our beach makes it easy to get started. The equipment is available on a first come, first served basis.

Tahoe Paddle & Oar

At Kings Beach

Venture out on your own or book a SUP tour for additional instruction and a bit of lake history. For more information or to make your reservation, check out www.tahoepaddle.com. Kayak rentals are also available.

Swimming

At the Resort or Sand Harbor

No trip to Tahoe is complete with a dip in the lake! You can wade in the water or go for a full-blown swim at our beach.  Another great option is Sand Harbor, located three miles south of Incline Village on SR 28.

M.S. Dixie II

Zephyr Cove

This classic paddlewheel offers scenic daytime tours of Emerald Bay, one of the most photographed locations in the world.  For a more romantic option, consider a sunset dinner cruise, complete with music and dancing.
