Very nice resort, great location by the lake. Very friendly staff. The only drawback is the rooms can be noisy. One of our two bedrooms was unusable because of the noise whenever the unit above ran water

Loved my time at Red Wolf. Enjoyed hot tubing in the snow, wreath making at the lodge and sitting by the fireplace in my room. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you’d need to cook a great meal. Full size fridge and oven made it a pleasure to enjoy our time cooking with friends.

We had an awesome visit. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. We went during the off season, between summer and winter so there weren't many folks around, but it centrally located on the North Shore so it is easy to to get to Incline Village and Northstar.

This place was so awesome! So perfect for me and my husband and my parents. The condo had 2 bedrooms. Perfect size kitchen , living room and bedrooms. It had 2 bathrooms both off of the bedrooms. So neat and tidy and clean. So clean, there was no hair or gross corners . Everything was tip top. The bathrooms were luxurious. Big with nice big tubs/ shower. Tubs had jets in them. Comfy bed. Slept amazing. Had grills available to grill our steaks on. Had 2 hot tubs that are open year around. It was chilly outside since it was November but perfect for the hot tub. The front desk lady was very sweet and helpful also. Have no complaints and will be back to stay! Thankyou so much!

We have been going to this lodge since the 80s. Back then for many years it was family owned. By different families, all amazing. A corporation took it over and did a lot of updates and upgrades making the property even better than it was before. There are two differences between now and then. Major ones in my opinion. The first is customer service! Let me be clear that the staff that we interacted with... Kaylee, Trini and Mary were top notch. They were kind, accommodating, super friendly and welcomed us everyday with a smile. The general manager, Erin, who claims to have been here for the last 15 years is nothing but a corporate robot. She was not friendly, inviting or a person I would want to do business with again. The other huge topic there was the parking. This has never been an issue in the past. If you are in a bigger unit and require more than one car or have another party with you, you are instructed to park either On the busy highway or in the Safeway parking lot which I'm sure is not legal overnight. To top that off, there is one handicap spot in the entire Lodge. This is not only against State codes but Erin proceeded to tell me that she is aware they are short-handicap spots but there is nothing they can do and will continue to pay the fine. My dad has MS and has a handicap placard and there were several other guests that required wheelchair assistance but again nowhere for them to park. Maybe across the street in the Safeway parking lot. We were there during the off-season and there were plenty of open parking spots. Although these parking spots were not utilized if we put an additional car there, it was so severely tagged taped and plastered all over the windshield. Followed by 100 text messages that went out to the entire Lodge about parking. My suggestion would be if there are any open spots, maybe posting in the office daily the open spots so that other guests that are paying can park their car on the property instead of on public property across the street. The final recommendation was the overwhelming amount of text messages that were sent throughout our week Stay was absolutely ridiculous. Anything more than one text a day to keep the guests updated on the activities they were having is completely unnecessary! This Lodge is more on the expensive side so to have this kind of treatment during our vacation was a little much and I really feel sorry for the timeshare guests that have to deal with this all year long for the amount of money they pay to stay there. Again the property was beautiful and other than having to deal with the parking and Erin I would definitely recommend! Unfortunately I don't see this changing anytime soon!

Your feedback is a reminder for me to reflect on how I can improve and ensure that every guest feels truly appreciated and cared for during their stay.

Regarding the parking situation, I completely understand your frustration, and I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience this caused, especially with your father’s need for accessible parking. We are currently working within certain constraints, but that is no excuse for not finding a better solution to make the experience more comfortable and respectful for guests who require accessible parking. Your suggestion about utilizing available parking spots and better communication is greatly appreciated, and I will certainly look into ways we can improve this moving forward.

As for the text messaging, I apologize if the frequency of the messages was overwhelming. Our intent is to keep guests informed, but we clearly need to strike a better balance to avoid any disruption to your experience. We will be reviewing our communication strategy to make it more guest-friendly and less intrusive.

Again, I’m truly sorry for the negative experience you had, and I greatly appreciate your kind words about Kaylee, Trini, and Mary, as well as your compliments about the property. Your loyalty means a lot to us, and I hope you’ll give us another chance in the future to show you the level of service and hospitality that you have come to expect from Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge.

We loved staying at the Red Wold Lakeside Lodge! The amenities (lakeside pool and hot tub, fire pits, bbqs, private beach and pier with kayaks, ping pong table) were incredible, especially for the price. The rooms were cute and exceptionally clean- we especially enjoyed the jetted tub, coffee, and fireplace. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will be staying here again and have already recommended to several others.

Fabulous location, well-maintained property, friendly staff, free guest laundry (free!). We tried the lakeside pool (great), lakeside hot tub (great), common-area outdoor gas fireplaces (great) and free kayaks (great). We had a queen Murphy bed which was comfy enough though in retrospect we wished we had opted for the 1-br suite instead (just personal preference). As there is no A/C our room got a bit warm during the heat of the days...so staff quickly brought a second fan for us. Also coffee is supplied for the 1st night only but there is a grocery store within easy walking distance. Wonderful experience overall. Recommended.
