Harvey’s Summer Concert Series (Jun 26th -Sept 23rd)

The summer concert series is back for 2022 at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harvey’s. Tickets are on sale now and shows run from the end of June through late September. This year’s featured acts include artists like Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Jack Johnson, The Chainsmokers, Dave Mathew’s Band, and more. The outdoor arena at Harvey’s is a fantastic spot to unwind under the south Tahoe sunset while listening to some great music. Truckee Thursdays (Thursdays June 23rd -August 11th | 5 – 8:30pm)

The town of Truckee’s vibrant weekly street fair is one of the most popular north shore events of the summer. Held every Thursday evening in downtown Truckee from 5 to 8:30 pm, the streets are filled with booths showcasing the work of local artists and businesses. There’s a food court catered by a number of incredibly tasty food trucks as well as a beer garden. There’s also a rotating lineup of live music every week for you to enjoy! Bluesdays at Palisades Tahoe (Tuesdays June 21st – August 30th | 6 – 8:30pm)

Held in the heart of Olympic Valley, Bluesdays are a great midweek event during the summer. Starting in mid June and running every Tuesday evening through the end of August, Bluesdays are a free outdoor music event featuring some of the best regional blues musicians. Held right in the Village at Palisades Tahoe, this event offers a number of delicious grab and go food options from village vendors. There is also a Blues Bar, featuring beer, wine, and spirits. The best part? These events are just steps from both of our Red Wolf at Olympic Valley and Olympic Village Inn locations. Seating is limited so be sure to bring your own camping chair if possible. Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival (7 nights a week | July 8th – August 30th)

The renowned Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is back with a great lineup for its 50th anniversary. Running every night from July 8th through the end of August, this festival is known for world class performances. Mamma Mia and Much Ado About Nothing will be this year’s featured acts, while a weekly showcase series will have performances from the Reno Philharmonic, the Sierra Nevada Ballet, and the Reno Jazz Orchestra. If you’ve never been to the stage at Sand Harbor on Tahoe’s East Shore you are in for a treat. Set right on the lakes shoreline, this location is ideal for catching the sunset while seeing some truly great performances. Click here for more info.

 

Golf Tournaments (Wed July 6th – Sunday July 10th | Thursday July 14th – Sunday July 16th)

Back again in South Lake Tahoe is the annual American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament. Held every year, this event brings in spectators from across the country to watch some of the country’s most famous past and present athletes and celebrities take to the course. With a generally more fun and relaxed atmosphere than your traditional golf tournament, this event is all about the spectators and fun. Click here for more info and a list of participants. This year the PGA Barracuda Championship comes to Tahoe Mountain Club’s Old Greenwood Golf Course in Truckee CA. Spectators can watch some of professional golf’s top talent compete in a fully sanctioned PGA tour event just a short drive from all 4 of our resorts. Click here for more info.
